What Are Holistic Horse Lessons?

Holistic Horse Lessons combine traditional horsemanship with a variety of complementary practices designed to nurture the mind, body, and spirit. These lessons are tailored to provide an inclusive space for everyone to learn at their own pace while offering a unique and enriching experience that goes beyond standard riding instruction. By integrating other modalities such as sound healing, breathwork, and somatic movement, we create a holistic learning environment that promotes overall well-being and personal growth.

Key Components of Our Holistic Horse Lessons

Holistic Horsemanship Skills: 

• Safety around horses
• Basic riding skills (ages 8+ only)
• Groundwork activities, obstacles etc.
• Grooming and caring for horses
• Understanding horse behavior and communication
• Creating a harmonious relationship between horse and human, grounded in mutual       respect and understanding

Sound Healing with Instruments:

• Use of calming instruments like singing bowls, drums, and chimes
• Working with instruments in this holistic way is designed to resonate with the body’s natural frequencies (horse and human)
• Promotes relaxation, emotional release, and mental clarity

Breathwork:

• Fun guided breathing exercises to improve focus, reduce stress and self-regulate
• Helps in grounding and connecting with the present moment
• Connecting breath with movement to help calm the mind and body

Somatic Movement:

• Gentle physical activities that promote body awareness and coordination
• Activities designed to release tension and help with focus
• Encourages a deeper connection between mind and body

Group Lesson Prices (max 4 participants):

$220 (4-week month, HST included)

$275 (5-week month, HST included) 

Private Lesson Prices:

$360 (4-week month, HST included)

$450 (5-week month, HST included)

*Lessons are 45 minutes, held weekly and billed monthly.
